Tragedy has enveloped the Nigerian military community following the shocking death of Lieutenant Samson Haruna, a young and promising Nigerian Army officer who reportedly lost his life after a heated altercation with his wife, Rehty, in Akwa Ibom State.

In the heat of the argument, Rehty allegedly poured petrol on her husband and set him ablaze. Shocked neighbors quickly intervened and rushed Samson to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), where medical personnel battled to save his life. Sadly, despite their efforts, he succumbed to severe burns and was pronounced dead shortly after admission.
