Popular American singer-songwriter and vocalist, Chris Brown, has opened up on his 2009 fight with his former lover, Rihanna.
Kemi Filani News recalls that a day before the Grammys on February 8, 2009, Chis Brown as accused of assaulting his then lover, Rihanna in a Lamborghini.
The picture of Rihanna with a busted lip, a black eye and bruising on her face â spread like cyber wildfire around the world.
Chris Brown was cancelled by fans of Rihanna and social media users.
Brown was arrested following the incident, and was sentenced to community service and domestic violence counselling, plus a restraining order.
Well, the embattled singer had admitted to being unfaithful with a work friend and Rihanna found out and âstarts going offâ. âShe throws the phone, âI hate you!â, whatever, whatever, she starts hitting me, weâre in a little Lamborghini, you know sheâs fighting me,â Brown says.
He continues, âLike I remember she tried to kick me, just like her beating shit, The hit me, then I really hit her. With a closed fist, like I punched her, and it busted her lip, and when I saw it I was in shock, I was âfu*k, why did I hit her like that? So from there sheâsâŚspitting blood in my face, it raised me even more. Itâs a real fight in the car, and we driving in the street.â
The rapper then claims that while trying to take his phone away from him, Rihanna squeezed his testicles. He bit her in retaliation âbecause I was attempting to drive,â he claimed. He then makes an effort to change his attitude. I donât want to continue fighting since I love her and donât want to hurt my girlfriend; Iâm simply trying to find a solution.
Brown claims that Rihanna screamed, âHelp, heâs trying to kill me!â as she exited the vehicle. According to Brown, âI was like, âStop, weâre going to be in trouble.
